I’m ready to start. What’s the first step?
The first step is a complimentary 15-minute consultation. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, determine whether my approach is a good fit for your goals, and answer any logistical questions. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule your first session.
What are your fees?
My fee is $200 per 50-minute session and $300 for 75-min sessions.
Do we have to meet every week?
Weekly sessions are an important part of my practice, particularly at the beginning. Depth-oriented therapy relies on consistency and momentum. Meeting weekly creates the trust and continuity needed to move beyond symptom relief and understand the deeper patterns shaping your life. As therapy progresses and your goals evolve, we can discuss adjusting the frequency together.
What does depth-oriented or psychodynamic therapy mean?
Depth-oriented therapy looks beyond immediate symptoms to understand the deeper patterns shaping your life. Together, we’ll explore how your relationships, family history, culture, early experiences, and unconscious ways of adapting continue to influence how you relate to yourself and others today. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, our work aims to create a deeper understanding of who you have become—and greater freedom to choose how you want to live.
When do you see clients?
I am currently accepting new clients for online appointments Sunday through Thursday.
What happens if I need to cancel?
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Because your session time is reserved exclusively for you, late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged at the full session fee.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance directly. However, I accept HSA and FSA cards as primary forms of payment. For those utilizing out-of-network benefits, I provide a monthly Superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
Therapy is a collaborative process. Our 15-minute consultation offers an opportunity to get a sense of how we work together. Ultimately, trust your experience. The therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful change.
What kinds of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults and couples who are thoughtful, psychologically curious, and interested in understanding themselves more deeply. Many have built successful lives while privately struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, burnout, or a persistent sense of never feeling “enough.” Others find themselves repeating the same relational patterns despite years of insight.
Many of my clients come from high-pressure professional environments or have been shaped by social/cultural expectations. They want to understand the deeper forces that have shaped them so they can live with greater freedom and authenticity.
How long does therapy usually last?
There isn’t a fixed timeline. Some clients seek support around a specific life transition, while others choose longer-term therapy to understand patterns that have developed over decades. Because my work is depth-oriented, meaningful change tends to unfold over time rather than in a predetermined number of sessions. We regularly reflect on your goals and the direction of our work together.
